This role focuses on developing robust, modular solutions primarily using Excel VBA, .NET, and SQL. You will write well-structured code utilizing procedures and functions, apply advanced Excel formulas including dynamic arrays and LAMBDA functions, and integrate with external data sources such as SharePoint lists and SQL databases. Expertise in the Excel Object Model is essential, including working with key objects like Application, Workbooks, Worksheets, and Range, as well as ActiveX and Form controls. You will handle events at workbook and worksheet levels, design VBA solutions interacting with COM objects, and master various error handling and debugging methodologies. The role requires strong skills in performance and memory optimization, with the ability to evaluate and improve existing VBA logic. You will participate in end-to-end software development leveraging Azure DevOps, follow Agile principles, and understand complex business logic to build data models that reflect business rules, particularly in the Tax domain.
