Memory Circuit Design Engineer

This Memory Circuit Design Engineer role is part of Broadcom''s Central Engineering Group, focused on developing memory compilers and custom macros at the leading edge of process technology. You will analyze memory architectures and their tradeoffs, design and build memory and circuit blocks at the gate and transistor level, simulate and analyze circuits using transistor-level simulators, and perform layout extraction and post-layout simulations. The role involves physical floorplanning, leafcell layout integration, integration of characterization flows to extract timing and power information, and development of automation scripts for characterization and verification. You will specify and verify behavioral and physical memory models, define silicon test plans, correlate silicon to simulation data, and support silicon debug activities. Strong knowledge of SRAMs, register files, multi-port memories, ROMs, and device physics is essential.
