Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer - DevSecOps/SRE

This Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer role is focused on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) for a cloud-native Corporate Lakehouse platform built on AWS. You will design, automate, and operate highly reliable, scalable, and secure cloud data platform components, combining advanced DevSecOps, DataOps, and SRE disciplines to ensure resilience, performance, and governance of mission-critical data systems. Key responsibilities include architecting Infrastructure as Code using Terraform Enterprise with enterprise-grade modular design, building GitLab CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and security scanning, engineering AWS data capabilities including S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, and KMS, and developing automation tooling in Python. You will lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews, build observability into all platform layers, and champion DevOps and DataOps best practices across the programme. The role also carries AVP-level leadership responsibilities including mentoring engineering teams and contributing to architectural governance.
