Senior Manager, Software Engineering (Core Finance)

This Senior Engineering Manager role leads the DET IT Application Engineering team, owning end-to-end delivery of systems, integrations, and platforms that power Salesforce''s financial ecosystem across Record-to-Report, Revenue Recognition, Quote-to-Cash, and Tax domains. You will hire, develop, and retain top engineering talent, drive technical strategy and execution for financial systems, and champion engineering excellence, automation, and innovation across the team. The role requires collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to define scope and priorities, establishing engineering best practices including Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps principles, and leading integration strategy leveraging platforms such as MuleSoft and Workday. You will oversee test automation strategy, manage distributed teams and vendor partners across global time zones, and drive continuous improvement in engineering, operations, and delivery processes. Strong domain expertise in cloud ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle across QTC, R2R, Revenue Recognition, and Tax is essential.
