Network Services Specialist
As a Network Services Specialist at IBM, you will design and implement network segmentation in highly complex environments with multi-tier applications. You will lead efforts to design and implement core network and security technologies in data-center environments, applying industry best-practice standards on network infrastructure builds across a worldwide environment. Your responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting complex network issues, acting as an escalation point for network engineers, and coordinating with OEMs such as Juniper, Cisco, and Palo Alto to drive resolution. You will participate in architecture-level discussions, recommend and perform technological platform upgrades, and provide network design inputs. The role also involves ensuring timely delivery of agreed project modules as part of a global network project team and maintaining the latest security and compliance posture for all supported devices. Occasional night shifts are required.
