Engineer II - Hashicorp Boundary Backend
As a Mid-Level Backend Engineer on the HashiCorp Boundary team, you will design, prototype, and implement features and tools for a hybrid-cloud secure remote access product that helps organizations manage identity-based access to infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with Product Design and Product Management partners, as well as engineers across multiple teams, to build and ship medium-sized features while managing task expectations. Your day-to-day will involve engaging in team discussions around diagnosis, planning, and workflow improvements based on product requirements, applying independent judgment to determine appropriate solutions, and addressing unforeseen challenges to keep work on track. You will debug and resolve medium-level bugs to maintain product quality, review technical contributions for consistency and quality, and recommend technical or architectural improvements. The role also involves suggesting enhancements to current processes and proposing solutions that improve the efficiency of architectural components and development workflows.
