Quality Engineer-Functional
As a Quality Engineer with a functional focus, you will specialize in designing and executing testing for applications and systems built using custom technologies. Your expertise will span across all levels of testing including functional, system integration, and end-to-end testing. Primary responsibilities include designing optimized test scenarios, planning testing activities, estimating work efforts, and identifying test environment and data requirements. You will perform both manual and automation testing, execute test cases, report test status, and address defects through creation, triage, and resolution. The role involves applying analytical and cognitive techniques to analyze test outcomes and drive continuous improvements in testing processes. You will leverage various testing tools, BDD/TDD approaches, and test accelerators to enhance test efficiency and quality. Identifying, documenting, and reporting defects while collaborating with teams to resolve issues is a key part of this position. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, cloud-based technologies, and DevOps tools and practices is preferred.
