AIX Test Engineer
As an AIX Test Engineer, you will work within the AIX organization responsible for AIX/VIOS development with yearly release cycles. You will develop functional verification plans by understanding product architecture, layers, and components. Your role involves collaborating in an agile environment to define testing standards, performing exploratory testing using industry best practices, and identifying defects and bugs. You will promote and implement test automation covering unit, integration, and functional tests. The position requires working with C/C++ applications in the UNIX domain, understanding OS internals including kernel programming, process management, memory management, and virtualization. You will seamlessly contribute across Development, Test, and L3 Support functions, ensuring product robustness by considering failure scenarios and driving testability from inception to deployment.
