Data Engineer-Data Platforms
As a Data Engineer specializing in Data Platforms, you will design and develop applications on Big Data technologies, including API development. This role requires a strong foundation in traditional application development along with expertise in analytics libraries, open-source Natural Language Processing, and statistical and big data computing libraries.
Your primary responsibilities include writing and debugging complex code, implementing Big Data technologies to support data-driven solutions, and applying technical expertise across NLP and statistical computing frameworks. You will deliver high-quality, robust data platform solutions that meet diverse business needs.
The ideal candidate will also bring exposure to advanced analytics concepts such as machine learning algorithms, predictive modeling, and data visualization techniques. Experience with cloud-based Big Data technologies including cloud storage and computing platforms is highly valued.
Additionally, knowledge of NoSQL databases and the ability to design scalable data storage solutions will be beneficial. You will work within IBM Consulting's delivery centers, collaborating with public and private sector clients worldwide to drive innovation and technology adoption.
