AUTOMATION ENGINEER L3
As an Automation Engineer L3, you will design, program, simulate, and test automation products and processes to achieve required efficiency and effectiveness. You will analyze current technology architecture, system interdependencies, and application stacks, then formulate project plans in collaboration with project management.
Your core responsibilities include contributing to the automation roadmap, researching automation architectures, and developing new automation solutions. You will improve and maintain the automation framework for horizontal use across technology stacks and build reusable libraries across business line verticals. You will design test plans, develop test cases and scenarios, and ensure environments are ready for execution.
You will handle development of technical specifications, resolve complex technical design issues, and participate in design activities for both functional and non-functional testing requirements. Tracking problems, resolutions, and bug fixes throughout the project lifecycle while creating comprehensive defect databases is expected. You will work with Agile delivery teams to understand product vision and backlogs, develop robust test automation for functional, regression, and performance testing, and assist in creating acceptance criteria for user stories.
Collaboration with development teams to create and improve continuous deployment practices, working with business SMEs to understand requirements, and designing and deploying applications using automation tools are key aspects of this role.
