Data Architect

This Data Architect role in Chandigarh is responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end Snowflake data solutions aligned with Emerson''s Data and Digitalization Strategy. You will define and implement best practices for Snowflake architecture including data modeling, security, performance tuning, and cost optimization, design and oversee ETL/ELT integration pipelines using tools such as Snowpipe, Airflow, Informatica, or Talend, and integrate data from diverse sources including on-premises systems, cloud platforms, APIs, and third-party providers. The role also involves implementing data governance, lineage, and metadata management across the Snowflake ecosystem, monitoring query performance and compute resources, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of data models and architectural decisions. A minimum of 12 years of overall experience with at least 3 years in data architecture using Snowflake is required.
