Lab Manager

This Lab Manager role in Pune involves overseeing day-to-day operations of a product testing laboratory that conducts electrical, mechanical, environmental, and EMI/EMC safety tests for industrial and hazardous area products. You will develop and implement laboratory management systems and operating procedures, manage the laboratory budget and resource allocation, and define test procedures for compliance with relevant standards including UL, CSA, IEC, EN, ATEX/IECEx, and NEC/CEC. The role includes reviewing test reports for accuracy and reliability, coordinating with business units to support R&D, validation, and compliance testing needs, overseeing ISO/IEC 17025 quality management system implementation, leading and managing the lab team through training and performance evaluation, and driving NABL or equivalent accreditation processes. Experience in industrial electrical and electromechanical product testing, with EMI/EMC or explosion-proof test expertise, is strongly preferred.
