Senior Manager Accounts

This Senior Manager Accounts role in Mumbai leads the financial reporting, external audit, and internal control functions for Emerson India. You will be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to APHQ/US in compliance with US GAAP, as well as preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements as per Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS). Key responsibilities include leading all external audits — statutory, tax, and transfer pricing — ensuring timely completion, overseeing SOX and internal control compliance in day-to-day accounting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external consultants for regulatory compliance. The role also involves leading and developing a team of finance professionals and guiding the Shared Service Center (Manila) team on accounting activities. A Chartered Accountant qualification and 8-10 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role, are preferred.
