Senior QPS Engineer I

This Senior QPS (Quality Plans & Specifications) Engineer role in Chennai involves reviewing and analyzing customer order requirements, applicable ASME Code requirements, and customer-specific specifications to determine procurement, manufacturing, and assembly requirements at both the quote and post-order stages. You will identify required technical documentation, prepare inspection and test plans (ITPs) when necessary, select manufacturing procedures for customer approval, and resolve technical queries raised by sales, manufacturing, and customers regarding procedures, QA practices, and Code compliance. The role also includes reviewing Bills of Materials and local product structures to ensure proper documentation is applied, and organizing cross-functional meetings to clarify unique construction or customer-specific requirements for timely order detailing. A minimum of 3 years of experience in valve products and manufacturing procedures is required.
