Senior Application Engineer I

This Senior Application Engineer role in Chennai provides independent engineering support for control valves and regulators for the North American inside sales network. You will use FisherFirst2 (FF2) software to perform sizing and selection of control valves, prepare technical and commercial quotations including deviation lists, reports, and drawings, and clarify technical specifications via conference calls with sales offices and impact partners. Responsibilities include supporting severe and critical service applications with guidance from senior engineers, providing MRO support, SPIR, and RSPL generation, managing quote-to-commit processes, and facilitating order entry post-PO issuance. Exposure to TBE meetings with customer assistance from senior engineers is part of the growth path. Knowledge of Fisher products, accessories, and MIB strategies is essential.
