Power BI Administrator

This Power BI Administrator role in Chandigarh requires deep hands-on expertise in Power BI optimization, administration, and development. You will be responsible for workspace management, user permissions, capacity monitoring using the Fabric Capacity Metrics App, and end-to-end performance tuning including query optimization, data model refinement, and dataset refresh improvements. Core technical responsibilities include creating optimized DAX measures, advanced Power Query (M language) transformations, and designing star/snowflake schema data models. The role also involves implementing best practices for Deployment Pipelines, Incremental Refresh, Aggregations, and Power BI Gateways. Familiarity with Azure services — including Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, and Azure SQL — is an advantage, as is experience with SQL Server Management Studio and REST APIs for automation and governance. The role requires working closely with overseas teams, making strong English communication skills essential.
