Application Engineer I

This Application Engineer I role is part of Emerson''s AP (Asia Pacific) team in Chennai, focused on using Fisher Software to design and select control valve solutions for clients. You will review project specifications and customer-specific guidelines to prepare technically accurate and commercially competitive quotations, including technical deviation lists, reports, and engineering drawings. The role involves regular coordination with local business partners and sales offices to clarify requirements, support project revisions, and assist with order entry transactions post-purchase order. You will also provide technical support to factory and engineering teams for change orders and operational engineering clarifications. Candidates with hands-on experience in control valve sizing and selection and the ability to manage large project requirements in-house are strongly preferred.
