Senior Application Engineer I

This Senior Application Engineer role is part of Emerson''s FCEC project quotation team in Chennai, with a focus on IND products — primarily regulators, tank top equipment, and steam products. You will be responsible for reviewing customer datasheets, performing sizing and selection using tools like FF2, and delivering accurate, competitive quotations within agreed deadlines. The role involves close collaboration with sales teams on technical and pricing matters, reviewing discount approvals, and training local business partners and customers. You will provide ongoing technical support to internal teams including Sales, PMO, and SOM, assist in order entry into SAP or Oracle, and work with quality teams on inspection and test plans. Complaint management through CRMOD and support for field service escalations are also part of the scope. Prior experience with control valves or regulators sizing and selection is strongly preferred, along with solid commercial awareness and negotiation capability.
