Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer - Project Management

This senior project management role at Emerson''s Chennai facility involves end-to-end accountability for delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget. You will develop comprehensive project plans covering tasks, timelines, resources, and budgets, while coordinating across internal teams, external vendors, and third parties to ensure effective resource allocation. Key responsibilities include tracking project expenses, implementing contract terms and conditions, conducting weekly status review meetings with management, and managing scope changes with minimal disruption. You will also be responsible for risk identification and mitigation, quality control, smooth handover to the LCS team, and following up with customers for payment collection and account closure. A background in natural gas industries and proven experience managing complex engineering projects is strongly preferred. Strong leadership, negotiation, and multi-stakeholder communication skills are essential throughout the project lifecycle.
