This Application Engineer position is part of Emerson''s FCEC project quotation team in Chennai, with a focus on Natural Gas products including pressure regulators and control valves. You will evaluate customer requirements, perform sizing and selection using tools such as FF2, and prepare accurate, competitive quotations on time. The role requires active coordination with sales teams on technical and commercial matters, reviewing discount approvals, and training local business partners and customers. You will support internal teams — Sales, PMO, and SOM — with technical clarifications, assist in order entry into SAP or Oracle, and work with the quality team on inspection and test planning. You will also manage customer complaints via CRMOD and support field service teams on escalations. A background in natural gas applications, specifically pressure regulators and control valves, is strongly preferred.
