Application Engineer

This Application Engineer role is part of the project quotation team at Emerson''s FCEC facility in Chennai, focused on Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) products. You will be responsible for reviewing customer datasheets, performing sizing and selection using tools like PRV2SIZE, and generating competitive, technically accurate quotations within customer deadlines. The role involves close collaboration with the sales team on pricing strategies, margin reviews, and discount approvals, as well as training channel partners and customers on product capabilities. You will provide ongoing technical support to internal teams including Sales, PMO, and SOM, assist in processing orders into SAP or Oracle systems, and coordinate with quality teams on inspection and test plans. Complaint management through CRMOD and resolution of field escalations are also part of the scope. Strong technical grounding in pressure relief valves combined with commercial awareness is key to succeeding in this position.
