Documentation Engineer

This role sits within Emerson''s Centre of Excellence Customer Care team and focuses on end-to-end ownership of post-order project documentation. You will be responsible for coordinating with global factories, project managers, engineering teams, and customers to ensure all documents are submitted on time as per the agreed Emerson Document Deliverable Index (EDDI). Day-to-day tasks include reviewing technical files before customer submission, managing document transmittals, preparing cover pages, and maintaining accurate records in document management systems such as DocPro, Windchill (PLM), and VDRL. You will also handle customer comment resolution by preparing comment resolution sheets, following up on approvals, and uploading documents through customer portals. A key milestone responsibility is compiling and submitting the Manufacturing Record Book (MRB) or Final Data Book to support project payment claims. This position demands strong organizational discipline, the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and confident communication with global stakeholders.
