Product Compliance Engineer

Review product designs and ensure compliance with international safety and certification standards such as UL, CSA, ATEX, IEC, and NEC. Coordinate with certification agencies and laboratories to obtain necessary approvals and ensure timely certification processes. Analyze technical documents including drawings, manuals, and reports to validate compliance requirements. Identify non-compliance gaps and collaborate with design teams to implement corrective actions. Develop test plans, manage certification documentation, and support product safety evaluations. Monitor changes in regulatory standards and communicate updates to engineering teams. Provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders on certification and compliance requirements. Support ongoing certification renewals and ensure continuous compliance throughout product lifecycle.
