Tanzu Data Intelligence - RabbitMQ Engineer

This senior RabbitMQ Core engineer role involves designing and implementing features for RabbitMQ, with a deeper level of expertise required compared to associate-level positions. You will develop robust and scalable producer and consumer applications in Erlang, Java, or Go, configure and manage RabbitMQ clusters, federation, and shovels, and optimize message throughput, latency, and reliability. The role requires implementing high availability using RabbitMQ clustering and quorum queues, ensuring code meets security and operational standards, and demonstrating deep understanding of messaging systems including Kafka, Tibco, and MQ Series. Strong debugging and log analysis skills along with comprehensive knowledge of exchanges, routing patterns, acknowledgements, and delivery semantics are essential. This role expects strong development experience rather than just exposure.
