Staff DevOps Engineer

This Staff DevOps Engineer role is part of the VMware Cloud Foundation Private AI Services CI/DevOps team, responsible for delivering and maintaining internal infrastructure and shared services required for development and testing of Private AI Services software products. You will design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins, provision and manage VMware SDDC-based infrastructure environments including vCenter, ESXi, and NSX-T, and drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform and Ansible. The role involves developing automation scripts in Python, PowerShell, and Bash, implementing observability solutions using Prometheus and Grafana, and providing expert-level support to engineering teams for infrastructure and shared services issues. You will also mentor engineers on DevOps best practices and effective infrastructure usage. Prior exposure to AI/ML workloads or infrastructure is a strong advantage.
