Support large-scale digitisation and preservation of legacy video archives by validating technical quality and metadata accuracy. Perform detailed quality checks on digitized files, identify issues, and coordinate corrections or re-digitization where needed. Transcribe handwritten notes and enrich metadata with accurate names, dates, locations, and contextual details to improve discoverability. Maintain records of QC findings and follow structured workflows while meeting throughput and quality targets. Apply strong knowledge of global events and archival content to interpret footage and improve metadata quality.
