This role involves pre-silicon validation and emulation of semiconductor designs at Broadcom's Bangalore facility. The engineer will be responsible for developing and executing verification plans for complex SoC or IP blocks using emulation platforms and simulation environments. Key responsibilities include writing and debugging test benches, creating verification infrastructure, and collaborating with design teams to identify and resolve bugs before tape-out. The role also involves working with hardware emulation platforms such as Palladium or Veloce to accelerate validation cycles, ensuring design correctness and functional coverage closure. The engineer will analyze simulation results, develop coverage metrics, and drive verification to completion while meeting aggressive project timelines.
