Analog Layout Engineer
As an Analog Layout Engineer at Broadcom, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing physical layouts of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. You will work on translating circuit schematics into high-performance layouts while adhering to design rules, matching requirements, and signal integrity constraints. The role requires close collaboration with circuit designers to understand performance specifications and ensure layout meets all electrical and physical design criteria. You will perform tasks including floor planning, placement, routing, parasitic extraction, and post-layout simulation support. Additionally, you will identify and resolve layout-related issues that impact circuit performance, ensure DRC and LVS clean designs, and contribute to tapeout readiness for advanced semiconductor process nodes.
