Senior Software Engineer (RHEL)
Red Hat is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) in Pune. You will design, develop, and deliver features and enhancements for the RHEL platform, working across core operating system components. Responsibilities include writing production-quality code in C and other languages, collaborating with upstream open-source communities, and contributing to the architecture and roadmap of RHEL subsystems. You will participate in code reviews, write automated tests, and ensure the reliability and performance of delivered features. The role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams including QE, documentation, and product management. You will also be expected to stay current with industry trends and drive technical improvements within the team.
