Senior Software Maintenance Engineer (RHEL)
Red Hat is hiring a Senior Software Maintenance Engineer to work on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). You will be responsible for diagnosing, debugging, and resolving complex software issues reported against RHEL components. This includes analyzing customer-facing problems, developing and testing patches, and collaborating with upstream open-source communities to contribute fixes. You will work across various RHEL subsystems including networking, storage, kernel, and system libraries. The role requires deep understanding of Linux internals and the ability to work independently on high-priority escalations. You will also participate in code reviews, share knowledge with the team, and help improve the overall quality and supportability of the RHEL platform.
