As an OpenWrt Developer focused on L2/L3 networking, you will design and develop networking solutions with a focus on Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols. The role requires extensive work with C programming in Linux environments and applying OS fundamentals to optimize performance and reliability.
You should have a solid understanding of OpenWrt architecture and development, along with hands-on experience with OpenWrt-based routers and RDK-B integration. In-depth knowledge of datacom protocol standards such as TCP/IP, VLAN, and PPPoE is essential, as is familiarity with IP routing, NAT, firewall, and PON technologies.
Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software components, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, documenting technical designs and implementation details, and participating in Agile development processes. Strong proficiency in C programming for embedded systems is required.
