Application Developer-Cloud Integration
As a Cloud Integration Application Developer at IBM Consulting, you will be responsible for developing new features and fixing defects across assigned applications. Your core work involves performing technical aspects of software development including prototyping and writing new code. You will work extensively with API Connect and DataPower, configuring API Proxy, JWT authentication, and basic authentication mechanisms. The role requires strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, proficiency in XSLT and gateway scripting, and experience with XPath, HTTP status codes, GET/POST methods, and CRUD operations. You will also test and troubleshoot issues across environments. Knowledge of cryptography, OAuth, and networking concepts is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential as you will manage interactions with users, vendors, and customers.
