Data Engineer-Data Platforms-Google
As a Data Engineer on the Data Platforms team, you will lead cloud application development and deployment for clients using AWS development methodologies, tools, and best practices. You will be responsible for leading project execution alongside senior resources, handling assigned development and deployment activities. Your work will involve designing, building, and maintaining cloud environments with a strong focus on uptime, access control, and network security using automation and configuration management tools.
Key responsibilities include developing web applications using Java/J2EE stack with Spring Boot, building front-end interfaces using React JS, and working with messaging systems such as Kafka. You will demonstrate technical leadership on customer-facing projects and contribute to the overall architecture and design of cloud-based solutions.
The role also requires working knowledge of concurrent design, multi-threading, and object-oriented programming principles. Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL databases is expected. Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud services and building applications in container-based environments using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS Cloud is highly valued. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
