As a Lead Member of Technical Staff focused on Distributed/Scalable Systems, you will build breakthrough features for Salesforce's trusted CRM platform while ensuring stability and scalability. Your responsibilities span architecture, design, implementation, and testing of production-ready code used by millions of users on the cloud platform. You will design, implement, and tune robust APIs and API framework-related features that perform and scale in a multi-tenant environment, and build efficient components and algorithms on a microservice multi-tenant SaaS cloud environment. You will work in a hybrid engineering model, contributing to all phases of the SDLC including design, implementation, code reviews, automation, and testing. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and providing technical guidance to the team. Strong expertise in multiple programming languages (Java, Python, Scala, C#, Go, Node.JS, C++), relational and non-relational databases (Postgres, Trino, Redshift, Mongo), and public cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) is essential, along with proven experience designing and developing distributed systems at scale.
