As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate Scrum teams and be accountable for removing impediments to help achieve sprint goals and deliverables. You will ensure the Scrum process is correctly adopted, protect the development team from external interference, and foster collaboration across teams while keeping them focused on priorities.
You will be responsible for meeting sprint objectives along with the scrum team, owning and resolving impediments, and helping the Product Owner adopt Scrum practices properly. This includes supporting the PO in maintaining the Product Backlog, defining User Stories, and establishing Acceptance Criteria.
You will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Grooming, Demos, and Retrospectives while ensuring correct adoption. You are expected to facilitate estimation, backlog refinement, and ensure Definition of Ready, Definition of Done, and MoSCoW prioritization adherence at the Sprint level.
You will ensure ALM tools are updated daily, track and analyze key Scrum metrics, and take corrective actions. You will also create competency improvement and cross-skilling plans for the team, help the team attain stable velocity within 6-8 sprints, and train the team on Agile methodologies including Scrum, XP, and Kanban.
Additionally, you will help drive adoption of engineering practices such as ATDD, TDD, CI/CD, and Refactoring, participate in Scrum of Scrums across teams, own retrospection actions, and contribute to community of practice initiatives.
