This role requires a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9) consultant with hands-on implementation expertise. The position is based out of Delhi NCR, Mumbai, or Bangalore, with travel to customer sites for upgrades, patching, and fresh deployments.
You will be responsible for planning, deploying, and managing VMware Cloud Foundation environments including management and workload domains. Key duties include deploying and configuring vSphere and vSAN clusters (including stretched clusters, fault domains, and storage policies), and working with NSX-T for network virtualization.
The role involves leading VCF migration projects using tools such as VMware HCX, vMotion, and cold migration techniques for seamless workload transitions. You will provide post-deployment support, performance tuning, and ongoing optimization of infrastructure across compute, storage, and network layers.
Additionally, you will drive end-to-end processes for new business implementations — from requirement management through integration, configuration, and production deployment. Conducting knowledge transfer and training sessions for internal teams and clients is also expected. Deep understanding of vSphere 6.x/7.x/8.x, vCenter, ESXi, and experience with VMware Aria Suite (Aria Operations) is required.
