Data Product Owner
As a Data Product Owner at Barclays, you will build analytical tools to generate insights, recognize patterns, predict behavior, and deliver content directly to users of information products. You will work with technical teams, architects, designers, and administrators to overcome technical challenges. Your core responsibilities include investigating and analyzing data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification, and documenting data sources, methodologies, and quality findings with improvement recommendations. You will design and build data pipelines to automate data movement and processing, apply advanced analytical techniques to large datasets to uncover trends and correlations, and develop validated logical data models. Translating analytical findings into actionable business recommendations and identifying opportunities for operational improvements is key. You will also design interactive dashboards and visual reports, and automate reporting processes for stakeholders. Strong expertise in SQL, Lakehouse table formats (Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg), data modeling, cloud platforms (AWS), and platforms like Databricks or Snowflake is essential, along with data quality, governance, and metadata management capabilities.
