AVP - Transformation & Projects
As an AVP – Transformation & Projects at Barclays, you will lead transformation and optimization initiatives within the Wholesale Lending operations area. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the bank to identify process improvement opportunities using data and management information, driving capacity creation and operational efficiency.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance banking operations effectiveness, creating reports and presentations on performance optimization, and communicating findings to senior internal stakeholders. The role requires hands-on experience with Finastra Fusion Loan IQ and strong knowledge of Corporate and Investment Banking lending processes, including term loans, revolvers, and delayed draw term loans.
You will lead a team performing complex tasks, set objectives, coach employees, and appraise performance. Experience in business requirements gathering, creation of testing scenarios within project delivery lifecycles, and working closely with IT and Change teams is essential. You will also identify industry trends and provide recommendations for continuous improvement within lending operations. Strong stakeholder management at all levels and excellent communication skills are critical for success.
