Assistant Manager
As an Assistant Manager in the Private Bank & Wealth Management (PBWM) operations team at Barclays, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day processing, reporting, account and service reviews while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will support client relationship management by identifying client needs and ensuring service expectations are consistently met.
Your responsibilities include identifying process improvement opportunities, implementing controls to mitigate operational risks, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. You will prepare performance reports and communicate actionable insights to internal stakeholders. Collaboration across teams is central to this role, as you will work to align and integrate PBWM processes, improve client service delivery, and drive operational efficiency.
You will also participate in projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing PBWM effectiveness, track industry trends, and recommend best practices. Candidates should bring a strong understanding of Private Banking and Wealth Management operations, client onboarding experience including KYC and AML compliance knowledge, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective stakeholder communication skills.
