IFC - Technical Project Manager
As an IFC - Technical Project Manager at Barclays within the Payments Merchant Services division, you will lead the evolution of infrastructure and deployment pipelines, driving innovation and operational excellence. You will build and manage robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure to ensure seamless delivery of digital solutions.
You will manage the end-to-end delivery of large-scale technical projects, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs throughout the software product lifecycle while adhering to time, budget, and quality requirements. Using Agile/Scrum methodologies, you will oversee sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, and resource allocation for complex technical capabilities.
Key responsibilities include working with software engineers, QA teams, and product managers to deliver high-quality products aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and security policies. You will identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, manage change requests, and maintain clear stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
The role requires strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright), programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps), and API/performance testing tools (REST/GraphQL, JMeter, LoadRunner). Experience with cloud testing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), AI/ML testing, and financial services domain knowledge including banking, payments, and regulatory compliance testing is highly valued.
