AI Engineering Lead-VP
As an AI Engineering Lead at the Vice President level, you will be responsible for building and scaling ML Ops platforms and GenAI applications using frameworks like LangGraph and Crew AI to design stateful, multi-step reasoning loops and autonomous multi-agent swarms. You will coach, mentor, and build high-capability engineering teams while collaborating closely with platform teams, project teams, and architects.
You will work extensively with AWS tools including Bedrock, Guardrails, Lambda, Glue, SageMaker AI, ElastiCache, Step Functions, S3, IAM, KMS, AWS Knowledge Base, pgvector, and knowledge graphs. Implementing observability, evaluation, and LLM Ops using tools like RAGAS, LangSmith/Langfuse, custom logging and tracing, and token usage and cost tracking will be core to the role.
A key part of the position involves implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) and persistent memory architectures (Episodic/Semantic) to ground agents in real-time data, as well as using natural language intent to rapidly prototype and steer non-deterministic systems. You will oversee timelines, team allocation, risk management, and task prioritization to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
You will also enforce technology standards, drive technical governance, and ensure solutions comply with the bank's resiliency and security expectations. Experience with agentic pattern implementations, strong DevOps and SysOps capabilities on AWS, and exposure to corporate banking or payments domains are highly valued.
