VP - Product Control Casablanca
As a VP in Product Control at Barclays, you will perform analytical reviews of securities, fees, and investment income for the investment banking business. Your responsibilities include understanding the nature of each business line, explaining movements in Balance Sheet and P&L, and identifying control gaps. You will manage the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards. The role involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks, and reporting findings to senior colleagues. You will develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets, prevent fraudulent misreporting, and ensure accuracy of financial data. Additionally, you will coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities, prepare statutory and regulatory reports, and drive continuous improvement in financial policies and procedures. This is a leadership-level role requiring strategic thinking, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement across functions.
