Macro and Credit BCO - India
As a Macro and Credit BCO for India at Barclays, you will support the Markets Trading & Sales business (Rates, FX & Credit) within the India Bank Branch entity as part of the APAC Markets BCO function. You will act as the central coordination point for all business-relevant controls, ensuring consistency and quality delivery of the Controls Strategy and Frameworks.
Your responsibilities include defining and implementing risk assessment and control frameworks enabling supervisors to meet non-financial risk oversight accountabilities. You will provide oversight across controls, issues, risk events, audit actions, policies, and standards, ensuring effective remediation where required. You will lead controls remediation projects arising from regulatory mandates, internal audit findings, and self-identified risk events.
You will support audit engagements including preparation, coordination, stakeholder management, and tracking remediation actions to closure. Implementing governance frameworks for monitoring risk and controls—including preparation of controls MIS, reporting packs, and representation at relevant forums—is a key part of the role. You will also support regulatory interactions, submissions, and control mandate implementation.
Success in this role requires extensive understanding of Macro and Credit businesses within a top-tier financial institution, proven experience embedding risk and control frameworks across Markets lines of business, and strong knowledge of the India Financial Services regulatory environment. You should demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions and geographies, along with familiarity with Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF), Operational Risk Framework (ORF), and associated controls frameworks.
