Engineering Lead-VP
As an Engineering Lead at the VP level, you will lead the overall engineering and development of a multiyear SOLD Simplification initiative aimed at making the platform compliant to a modernized environment, executing hardware refresh, and removing redundant functionalities. You will coordinate and support requirement discovery, initiative and delivery planning, roadmap creation, and stakeholder management.
You are expected to drive large programs and bring hands-on coding experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, and RESTful APIs. Strong solution design skills with deep knowledge of design patterns are essential. You will lead engineering teams, champion latest industry standards and best practices, and drive adoption of modern tech stacks and DevOps practices.
A critical aspect of this role involves migrating legacy platforms to modern technology stacks, implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, and performing performance tuning and problem solving. You will advise key stakeholders including functional leadership and senior management on areas of impact and alignment.
You will foster a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture, mentor team members, oversee architectural decisions, and ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions. Risk management, controls governance, and aligning technical decisions with business objectives are integral to this position. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required.
