Wholesale Lending Change Risk Assessment Lead
Join Barclays as a Wholesale Lending Change Risk Assessment Lead, where you will collaborate with stakeholders and leverage data and management information to identify process optimisation opportunities and drive capacity creation within the Wholesale Lending business area.
In this Vice President-level role, you will develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of banking operations using data-led insights. You will participate in and lead projects aimed at performance and optimisation improvements, produce reports and presentations for senior stakeholders, and identify industry trends to recommend changes within performance and optimisation processes.
The role requires a strong grounding in Operational Risk and Technology Risk with hands-on experience in change management lifecycles including Agile/DevOps, releases, and migrations. You should have expertise in control design and assurance covering preventive, detective, and corrective controls across automated and manual processes, data quality, entitlements, and resilience.
You must demonstrate the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders with crisp communication of risk, residual risk, and decisions needed. Analytical problem-solving skills with experience producing thematic insights and actionable reporting are essential. Familiarity with Risk & Controls Framework requirements, governance templates, and audit expectations is expected. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
