System Engineer
As a System Engineer in the Private Bank Processing team, you will support the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects while adhering to plan, budget, quality, and governance standards. You will drive innovation in the digital landscape and leverage cutting-edge technology to enhance digital offerings and customer experiences.
Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions using Java and related frameworks. You will work with service patterns and protocols including Web Services, APIs, REST, and RPC, and utilize messaging systems such as MQ, Kafka, and Mule. Front-end development using Angular or React frameworks and HTML is also part of the role.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Participation in code reviews and promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing is expected.
The role requires strong understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle, CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab, SCM tools like Git and TFS, and Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) using tools like Jira. You should be able to manage daily tasks independently, write effective unit tests, and follow secure coding practices. Experience with open source libraries such as Log4j, Hibernate, and Liquibase is essential. Familiarity with AWS and microservice/API-oriented architectures is desirable.
