Risk Analytics - Analyst
Join the ORRO (Operational Risk and Risk Oversight) Automation and Data Analytics team as a Data Analyst. You will design, develop, and maintain business applications and solutions for the ORRO function within the Risk department. Your primary focus will be building data analytics capabilities that improve operational risk monitoring, automating existing processes for efficiency and control improvements, and supporting ORRO leadership on strategic initiatives.
You will leverage innovative data analytics and machine learning techniques to drive actionable insights from the bank's data assets. Working closely with stakeholders across business and technology teams, you will support data-driven decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and drive innovation. Your responsibilities include analysing complex datasets, identifying trends and risks, and translating insights into meaningful recommendations that support strategic objectives and improve business performance.
The role requires performing complex quantitative analysis and delivering practical business solutions using emerging data analytics technologies. You will be involved in data extraction strategies, building statistical and machine learning models, developing predictive models to forecast outcomes and identify risks, and collaborating with business stakeholders to add value through data science. You should have end-to-end experience on at least one complete data analytics project from investigation through to productionizing the solution.
You will also investigate and analyse data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification, documenting data sources, methodologies, and quality findings with recommendations for improvement.
