Lead Architect Cash Management and Liquidity
As a Lead Architect for Cash Management and Liquidity within Global Payment Services, you will design, develop, and implement solutions to complex business problems in the transaction banking domain. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and create solutions that balance technology risks against business delivery while driving architectural consistency.
Your responsibilities include designing solutions as evolving products that align with modern software engineering practices and automated delivery tooling, applying appropriate workload placement strategies that maximize cloud capabilities such as elasticity, serverless computing, and containerization. You will incorporate security principles like defence in depth and blast radius reduction to meet the bank's resiliency expectations.
The role demands deep domain expertise in global transaction banking products including DDA accounting platforms, virtual accounts, liquidity management, balance and transaction reporting, pricing and billing, and emerging areas like digital assets, stablecoins, and tokenised deposits. You will develop architecture inputs required for governance processes spanning privacy, security, and records management. Experience in solution architecture and platform engineering, strong alignment with CTO, security, and data architecture standards, and exceptional communication skills to articulate strategy and roadmaps to ExCo-level stakeholders are critical. Understanding of architecture's role within scaled agile frameworks is also expected.
