AVP - Data & Records Business Partner
As an AVP - Data & Records Business Partner within Wholesale Onboarding and Group FCO, you will enable effective data governance, risk management, and compliance within the bank. Acting as a liaison between business units and the Data & Records Management (DRM) function, you will translate business needs into actionable strategies and ensure efficient DRM implementation.
Your key responsibilities include partnering with local business units to ensure successful implementation of data and records governance frameworks, providing guidance on records classification, retention, storage, retrieval, and disposal. You will monitor local data quality and records metrics, identify areas for improvement, and spot opportunities for data optimization.
You will also support business units in embedding appropriate data and records decisions into their BAU decision-making and change programs. The role requires experience in data management, data governance, data quality and controls, data lineage, and reference data/metadata management within financial services. Practical exposure to BCBS 239 principles and a strong understanding of risk and control environments, including second- and third-line functions, is essential. You will lead a team performing complex tasks, setting objectives and coaching employees while managing stakeholders across geographies and cultures.
