TL-Licensing Officer
This is a Subject Matter Expert/Team Leader (Individual Contributor) role focused on licensing operations within the US mortgage industry. You will be responsible for filing license applications, waivers, exemption requests, and license renewals while conducting state licensing research and handling other licensing project work as needed. The role requires following up on the status of applications, troubleshooting problems, and resolving issues related to licensing. You will maintain the company's licensing database, notify management on renewal and compliance requirements, and coordinate with licensing authorities to fulfill their requests. Strong project management experience is expected, along with knowledge of the NMLS application/portal and renewal processes. The position requires excellent stakeholder management, the ability to meet goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work across different shifts.
